Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Angie Li spent the majority of her life training at Houston Ballet Academy and attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where she majored in dance and theater.

 

During her time at the University of Texas at Austin, Angie received a Bachelor in Business Administration, with a major in International Business and a minor in Marketing. During this time, she also continued to dance at the university, taking ballet, pointe, and pas de deux classes under the instruction of Grace Holmes. 

 

Angie has been teaching ballet, pointe, and the beloved Nutcracker Spectacular, at Alisa's Dance Academy since 2015. Though currently pursuing a career in the software industry, dance is and always has been her creative outlet and passion.
