Ally Holt is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Austin, TX where she originally found her passion for dance. After performing and attending numerous regional and national dance conventions and competitions under the direction of Fusion Dance Company, she attended Oklahoma City University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Performance and a minor in History. While attending school, Ally was a featured dancer in the American Spirit Dance Company. She was also the Director and lead choreographer of OCU’s Pep Dancers, was the Dance School’s Senator in the Student Government Association, and taught dance to underprivileged students at OCU’s Community Dance Center. Since graduating, Ally has traveled performing all over the world. She’s worked with Stiletto Entertainment in Los Angeles, CA, and performed in over 15 countries with Holland America Cruise Lines. It was while traveling that Ally realized how much she missed teaching and inspiring young dancers. She has worked with Dance Masters of America as a Master Ballet Instructor, as well as serving as a competitive judge with Legacy Dance Championships and Stage One Productions. She is also the primary jazz instructor for Ballet Austin’s Academy and Intensive students. She is thrilled to be a part of such a great family of professional students and faculty at Alisa’s Dance Academy and feels blessed to have the opportunity to share her passion.
