Lynly Walsh has been an Austin’s Dance Elite instructor and choreographer since 2010. She has been dancing since 1984 and has been teaching and coaching since 1998. She has been formally trained in ballet, contemporary, lyrical jazz, street jazz, Broadway jazz, tap, cheer & drill, and hip hop. She grew up studying dance at a number of studios in San Diego and Los Angeles. She spent numerous years attending national competitions, workshops and conventions as a performer and teacher and garnered hundreds of titles including multiple state and national titles. Lynly was a performer on her high school dance team and went on to perform and choreograph for as well as lead her college dance teams. She was a performer with the Omaha Alliance Company of Dancers in Nebraska and a Director for the Westmont High School Dance Team in California. In 2004, Lynly was chosen from a group of over 1000 women to be a San Diego Chargers NFL Cheerleader. As a professional cheerleader she danced in front of thousands of fans per game, guest performed for the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl, travelled all over the US, and spent hundreds of hours visiting with and performing for the troops overseas and at home. Lynly modeled and acted professionally with multiple agencies including Marla Dell, Look Models and McClain Elite Talent. She is also a classically trained opera singer. Lynly received an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Philosophy from Santa Clara University in 2002. She received an MBA from San Diego State University’s Graduate School of Business in 2006. She currently works fulltime as a Vice President, Investment Strategist for the Wells Fargo’s Private Bank. She works part-time at Alisa’s so that she can stay connected to her true passion of dance.
